Our third Sea Day

We had 2 sea days at the beginning of this portion of our cruise and we now have another one.
After so many ports and so much activity a sea day is welcomed. It is nice to relax and not have someplace we must be.
We are celebrating our anniversary today. We informed Princess so we had a very nice card and balloons and a sign saying Happy Anniversary greeting us when we opened our door this morning. As a treat we ordered champagne breakfast. It was fantastic as usual. But it is entirely too much food. We ate all we could for breakfast and then had it again for lunch and there is still food left over. The champagne was very nice. In fact I think it was much better than last time.
During the morning we decided to explore the ship further. It is hard to believe that I haven’t seen it all yet. We walked to the very top decks 17 and 18. Up here there is a lawn bowling court, a place to practice putting and crochet as well as a  basketball court and a walking circuit. It is really quite attractive with lovely green turf and rock walls etc. It is the nicest center court we have seen.
I went to the internet cafĂ© and learned that we do not get another package for the southern leg. We booked this as a 20 day cruise and so we don’t get another package at the 10 day mark. Those who booked it as 2 ten day cruises instead of 1 twenty day cruise get 2 packages. I  compared  the number of minutes and we definitely get short changed if this is true. I was careless about downloading pictures and using up time at the beginning so I will have to be extra careful to make certain we do not run out of minutes before February 17th.
I also stopped at the big outlet sale and got Ken a hat with the West Quoddy lighthouse embroidered on it. The crowd was not as bad as during the last sale.
Then I met Ken for elevator roulette, we didn’t win. Then it was back here for lunch and time to catch up on the blog.
This afternoon was the wine tasting, which is always nice. As is usual for me I enjoyed the whites but did not enjoy the reds.
I purchased some post cards today and spent time trying to write some. I always find post cards difficult to do. It is always difficult to say anything of significance in such a small space.
The weather today has been kind of special. The sun is shining but all around us there have been pop up showers. When that happens we are treated to amazing rainbows. They are bright and they just appear out of the ocean and then disappear as fast as they appeared. So far the ship has not passed directly through any of the showers.
We considered going up to Skywalkers for the Elite get together but we changed our minds.
Tonight dinner had scallops as a choice. As usual they were done so very well. Absolute perfection. I expected an anniversary cake but it didn’t come. I guess they forgot us.
Howard and Janeen and Ken and I hurried to the Princess theatre and we got seats in lots of time to take in the production show with the singers and dancers. It was great. The title was Boogie Shoes and it featured seventies music.
We had our usual stroll around the deck. Our plan was to go for a special coffee but we decided we were too tired and would prefer a glass of milk and a cookie. So we went to Horizon court and brought our milk back to the balcony and enjoyed it there.
We have room service bringing breakfast in the morning.
Tomorrow is Princess Cays. This will be our first visit to the Cay if we get there. We were scheduled on our last two visits to the Caribbean but weather kept us away.

We will see what happens tomorrow.
