End of Cruise continues

At around 10:15 we headed for the meeting place for intransit passengers. It went very smoothly except we had to wait for 2 passengers. But as soon as the count was complete we were lead back on board. I don’t know why but I had a low sugar for some reason so we had an early lunch down in the international cafĂ©. We had our usual of a small quiche and some salad. I also had a skinny latte.
Room service brought us our coffee cards. We decided to change our mini bar set up for 2 coffee cards this time. We still had most of the first bar set up so we really did not need another one and our coffee card that was a gift from Kim would not last the ten days.
In the afternoon we spent more time exploring the ship. There were parts of it that we had not yet visited even though we had been on for 10 days. We played a bit of golf on the putting green up on deck 19. It is so neat up there,. They run a sound track and you hear the sounds of birds singing, golf balls dropping into cups, and the occasional golfer calling FORE. The sun was shining and it was really quite hot so we did not stay there long.
When we came upon the Neptune Pool we discovered that they were repainting it. There were lots of workers on the bottom and along the sides. As is usual everywhere there was one man in a beige uniform watching everyone else working.
We did go to the sail away. It was a beautiful day and there were lots of revelers in attendance. We decided to pass on one of the watered down sail away drinks. By the time the ship got out of the port and into clear water it was time to return to our stateroom and dress for dinner. We met our new neighbours. They are from Colorado and he seems to be quite the talker. I think we have small children near by. I can hear the excited little boy every now and then.
The demographic on this cruise seems to be a bit younger . There are a few young families and we have seen several couples in their 40’s and 50’s.(we think), but I am getting worse at guessing peoples ages.
Anyway we met Fred and Mary, our new table mates and they seem to be a lot of fun. I think we will be doing a lot of laughing during the next ten days.

We didn’t do a show after  dinner, we just strolled the deck and called it a day.
