We found it to be a grand way to get to know that city. It is so much nicer than spending just a few hours and moving on.
So we decided we should do that again this time. But instead of spending 2 days pre cruise we decided to get an Air B&B for an entire week
We are so excited about this. We think we have a very nice centrally located place. We will be sharing an apartment with the owner... Sandra. It seems to be just what we will need and want.

This is her place. She is just minutes from the sea and her little balcony overlooks a park.
Someone said they would rather have a place to themselves rather than a share situation. I guess there are good points for both being alone and for sharing. We decided that we would prefer to be in a situation where we have a local and someone who speaks English to be our hostess especially since we have never been to Barcelona and because we do not speak Spanish. Sandra speaks several languages including English

We fly from Vancouver on October 15th, get to Barcelona on October 16th. We spend 7 days in Barcelona and on October 23rd we board the Crown Princess. We are doing 2 cruises back to back. The first makes stops in Spain and Greece and Montenegro and Italy. After eleven glorious days the cruise ends in Rome. We stay on board for the second cruise which is 14 days long and ends in Fort Lauderdale after stops in France and Spain and Italy and the Azores. We fly home from Fort Lauderdale to Vancouver on November 17th
This will be our first visit to the Mediterrean so all will be new to us and we are really looking forward to it.
