This will be a whirlwind adventure. Here are our plans
October 14
Go into Vancouver, spend the night at the Sandman.
Ron and Rose are taking us in
October 15
Fly to Barcelona, using Air Canada
October 16
arrive in Barcelona and try to adjust to the time zone change
October 17
We have tickets for the Hop On Hop Off busses
There are 3 routes in Barcelona.
Two are 2 hours long and one is 40 minutes long.
We are hoping for a sunny day so we can ride up top
October 18
In the morning I am taking a workshop named
Paint Like Picasso.
It is 3 hours long.
Sounds like a lot of fun.
In the afternoon we are both doing a tour of the more well known neighbourhoods of the area.
October 19
The schedule is for a bus trip to Montserrat
Early admission to the Monastery is included.
October 20
We do not have a formal tour but we plan to go to Las Ramblas
and just generally tour around. Perhaps shop for something leather.
October 21
On this day we have a tour of Gaudi's Park Guell
October 22nd
We saved the best for last. Today we have a guided tour of
La Sagrada Familia
October 23rd
This is the day that we embark the Dawn Princess to begin our cruises.
The time in Barcelona will include a lot of touring and shopping and eating and trips to the ocean etc. We intend to squeeze in as much as we can without wearing ourselves out. We have very busy cruise following this first part of the adventure.
