Spice Beach Club in Bonaire

Tour Overview

If you're looking for relaxation under the Caribbean sun while still enjoying everything Bonaire has to offer then look no further than the Spice Beach Club. This contemporary piece of paradise is located on Bonaire's western shoreline and offers spectacular views over the Caribbean Sea, a private large man-made sandy beach area, built for lounge chairs and plenty of fun things to do.

Don't forget to bring along a beach towel, water shoes, sunscreen, a swimsuit and a camera to capture the spectacular ocean views.

At the pier you'll climb aboard an open-air bus or van for the short but scenic drive north to Spice Club Facility, an unspoiled natural coral beach landscape that stretches over 300 feet. When you arrive, you'll be warmly greeted with a friendly "Bon Bini," and served a delicious drink. After a brief tour of the resort you're free to discover Spice Beach Club on your own for 2.5 hours.

The sound of the soft waves and Caribbean breeze and the fine textured white sand at the lounge chairs offer an isolated and relaxed environment. After looking at your idyllic surroundings you might prefer to wiggle your toes in the soft, powdery sand or sit at the bar and watch the palm trees sway in the breeze. A dip in the pool or a nice long swim in the crystal clear Caribbean Sea may be your ideal way to wile away the time.

But if you live for an adventure check out all the activities that the Club has to offer. For an extra fee you can enjoy Bonaire's unbelievable shore diving and rent snorkel equipment. The on site activity desk offers a variety of different water sport rentals for a nominal fee as well.

After you've enjoyed all your laid-back relaxation or energetic endeavors you may wish end your visit with a delicious lunch and a cocktail at the restaurant before climbing back aboard your transportation for the return trip to Kralendijk. (lunch is not included)

Special Notes

It should be noted that the waters around the island are an official marine park. Bonaire National Marine Park, established in 1979 has the mission to protect and manage the island's natural resources. Corals, dead or alive are protected and for this environmental reason a containment wall protects the reef from the beach sand. Bonaire's beaches are not long stretches of white sand like one would encounter in Aruba. The tropical beach area is pleasant, though small. Expect some coral on the sand. There is limited shade - an extended roof over the bar, sun canopies and palm trees provide some shade. A containment wall is being constructed for environmental reasons to protect the reef. Wear a swimsuit and bring adequate sun protection. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver. Swimming is at your own risk. There is no life guard. The property may offer certain sport activities which are not endorsed by Princess Cruises. Bring small bills to purchase beverages, food, souvenirs or rentals. Bring water shoes and a towel, wear a swimsuit and adequate sun protection.

Hi Abramson's, I hope you've been contacted by the strata - but wanted to be sure. The folks in 17 beside you had a flood from the heavy snow and then rain. You may want to get family to check your place if they haven't already. Our place is fine! I would guess yours is to - just want to be safe. Frank
