Tour Overview

What you visit:
Chobolobo Estate / Blue Curacao Liqueur Factory:
This early 19th-century Dutch colonial mansion has been converted into a small distillery that crafts the Curacao blue liqueur. Created from the peel of the Valencia orange planted by the Spaniards when they discovered Curacao, the unique spirit has been produced on the island for over 100 years using a traditional recipe dating back to 1886. During a guided tour of the distillery, visitors gain a good understanding of the process and have an opportunity to sample the liqueur.
Mambo Beach (officially Seaquarium Beach):
Situated on the eastern part of the island, this enticing man-made beach is one of the most popular in Curacao. Noted for its soft sand, turquoise waters and ample amenities, here you can swim in the warm waters, play a game of volleyball, sip fruity cocktails in the shade of a palm tree or rent snorkel gear (at your own expense). The lively boardwalk is lined with shops, bars and restaurants. This is a family-friendly beach, but please note that topless sunbathing is permitted.

What you see along the way:
Willemstad
The capital of Curacao, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, displays an array of historic sights that celebrate both its Dutch heritage and the colorful culture of the Caribbean. Your comprehensive city tour encompasses the historic harbor, residential districts and natural scenery and includes views of the iconic pastel-hued buildings; Rif Fort, built in 1829 to defend St. Anna Bay; the floating pontoon bridge; Queen Juliana Bridge; and the Jewish district as you make your way up the eastside coastline to Mambo Beach.

Shopping:
After touring the Curacao Liqueur Distillery, visit the gift shop to take the flavor of the island home with you. In addition to the iconic bright blue liqueur, the store features exclusive mementos, branded apparel, drinking accessories and Caribbean specialties.
Mambo Beach Boulevard is a treasure trove of local and international brand name stores as well as a variety of souvenir shops. Stroll the lively walkway and pick up everything from scented candles and curios to colorful flip-flops, woven tote bags and designer t-shirts.
