Minot
Minot is a city located in north central North Dakota in the United States. It is most widely known for the Air Force base located approximately 15 miles north of the city. Wikipedia

Unemployment rate: 3.3% (Apr 2013)
This is a good sized city and it is sometimes called the Magic City because it is growing so quickly, The reason for the growth is the oil industry.
Driving in we saw "Grasshoppers" everywhere and they all seemed rather new.
It doesn't appear to be very culturally diverse. When moving throughout the city we saw very few people of color, any color other than white.
Because of not having wheels we did not see as much of it as we would have liked.
