Spend the night in Labrador

Our Accomadations

Northern Lights Inn

The Northern Light Inn is a quality three and a half star hotel offering a place of comfort and hospitality for you to eat well, sleep soundly, and leave relaxed. Our rooms are modern, spacious, and en-suite

We were expecting this to be a cold foggy day but we were pleasantly surprised. It was a beautiful almost warm sunny day. We brought our winter coats and gloves and toques and did not need them at all. We made our scheduled stop at the Basque whaling station. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. They feature models of the different activities. The ranger was very knowledgable. It was great.

But the highlight of the day was the sighting of our first iceberg. It was near the ferry landing so we could get up nice and close and the sun made it glimmer.

Tomorrow morning we have to have breakfast at 6 and leave at 6:45 to connect with the return ferry. This is the part I don't like about bus tours...early wake up calls..

I am having wifi problems so there will have to be pictures tomorrow.
