Well the ship did a lot of rocking last night but we slept well. We got up around 7:30 and got ready and went to the dining room. Our table mates were from Mass. and Connecticut. It was a lady with her husband and her sister in law. Again they seemed to be very nice people and we avoided any talk about Trump. So far so good. Ken left his glasses behind but because we had given the table mates a card they could take the glasses to Customer service and tell them who owned the glasses. When we came into the room there was a message on the phone advising Ken that he could come and get his glasses.
By then the ship was REALLY rocking. It was not long before I felt ill. So I laid down and napped and watched TV and enjoyed my flowers.
This was Super Bowl Sunday so all of the lounges were filled with people enjoying the game.
I took Gravol so I could go to supper. It worked.
Mary and Frank were a bit late so we were wondering if they were seasick and not coming. But they did make it.
Al and Jan were there right after us. We are going to change locations of our seats every night so we all get a chance to enjoy the window.
After supper we went to the Princess Theatre to hear Carlos Oscar. He is a fabulous comedian and even though we had heard him before we thoroughly enjoyed his performance and had a good laugh.
It is about 9:30 and the ship is still doing a jig. It is quite normal for the first 2 days on our way to Hawaii to be cool and a bit rough.
I am going to call it a night.
Tomorrow is formal night. It is the Captain's welcome aboard party.
We still have not opened our champagne. Perhaps tomorrow will be the day.
nite nite!!!
