Wednesday

 Wednesday February 8th, Ships time,

This was a routine day at sea. We went to the dining room for breakfast as usual. We were sat at a table for eight. One of the couples was the one who holds the 3rd most traveled record. I gather they get to 2000 days befor this cruise comes to an end. They had many interesting stories to tell which was a good thing because breakfast service was extremely slow. I got my raisins and cinnamon this time .

After breakfast Ken went to his science lecture and I worked on the blog. Then I went out to find a place to hide the duck.

Next I went ot the destination lecture. The location was Tauranga which is home for our cruise director Cole. He gave lots of tips on where to go and what to see.

I also went to customer service and bought 100 NZ dollars. We will use CC if we want something big but I do not want to use a CC to buy a little tree ornament.

The highlight of the day was the concert but the Island Princess Harmony choir. They were amazing. There were 138 members and they were sensational. I can't believe how good they were with only 2 weeks of being in exhistance and only practicing on sea days. I did a video but I have not yet figured out how to add videos to the blog.

Last evening was the production show Stardust. It was great to have the show. We really enjoy them and so far this has only been the second one.

After the show we returned to the cabin to get organized for the morning. We will be in New Zealand and our excursion is a catamaran trip to the Bay of Islands and there is a lighthouse... yeah!!

We will be having room service breakfast for the first time. It arrives at 6:30.

This day and evening sounded great. I’m sure you had fun on your excursion the next day, especially with getting to see their lighthouse.
