This is a sea day and so not much is happening. Plus it is a Sunday.
Was able to get connected to our local church service using Zoom. Chatted with friends before and after the service.
Went to breakfast in the Bordeaux dining room , enjoyed the company of very nice people . Ship suddenly changed course to avoid a storm. Ship was rocking for awhile then things calmed down. Just enough to let you know that you were on the water. Lots of white caps!
Then I checked and learned that the little duck has a new home.
Went to the destination lecture on Auckland. We will be there on February 10 and we do not have an excursion booked. I am going to look into booking the Hop On Hop Off bus.
Went shopping and replaced the black paschima which I lost. I also got a lovely soft velour hoodie. The price was reduced from $70.00 to 15.00, a very good deal. It is a very light dove gray and it will come in handy. The dining rooms are often VERY cool. Pauline does not seem to mind it but I sure do. The AC is just turned up too high and our table is right under the vents.
Then I returned to the room to investigate what we can do in Auckland. No decision yet.
Ken went to a special get together of train enthusiasts and I played on the computer learning about Auckland.
I learned that someone found my duck. She posted her find on the 2023 World Cruise facebook page. That made my day.
The show last night was a harmonica player and we decided to skip it. The sky was clear and Ken went to the talk about stars. He said the stars were very bright. They had not turned off the ship's light , perhaps they will tonight.
Tomorrow is another sea day and we will cross the dateline.

Just seen you'll be in Auckland soon,if you like Aquariums and sea life check out Kelly Tarltons Sea Life Aquarium, we really enjoyed a few hours there, easy journey by bus I believe. Check it out on line if you can. Enjoy the sunshine, it's freezing here and damp in our part of Spain.
