Sea Day
number three,
We love sea
days and so this day was greeted with the anticipation of relaxation.
It was not
particularly nice weather wise. Not raining just gray. We had breakfast in the
dining room and again met some very nice people.
The big event
this morning was the culinary show. The head chef and the maitre d always ham
it up and have fun. Oscar is always funny so it was very entertaining.
After that
we roamed into the sale and bought nothing.
We had
lunch in the dining room and had lunch with an interesting couple from
Australia and another couple from Michigan. After the US people left the table
to go to an art auction the Aussie asked us a few questions about the situation
in the US. It was quite the conversation as you can imagine.
They had
scallop on the menu for supper and I ordered them and immediately gave them to
Ken. I was not at all hungry. I have had very little appetite on this cruise.
The show
was called Magic to Do and it was truly amazing and very entertaining. It was a
very clever combination of magic tricks and music and dancing.
We stopped
at the Piazza and there was an amazing group performing. The name is Icon. They
did MOTOWN and did it well. We are hoping they are on board for the next cruise
because if they are we will make certain to enjoy them more than once.
We then
called it a night. Naples on Friday and we are off to Pompeii.
