A Strange Morning.

A Different morning

This is Friday November 2^nd and we are in Naples, Italy. This is the first time we arrived into a port to driving rain. That was the first difference.

We ordered room service breakfast and to our surprise the cereal arrived but there were no bowls. Ken came to the rescue by going up to Horizon Court and getting us a couple of bowls.

While we were eating we received a message from the bridge. That was a surprise because they never come into your room in the early morning. The captain informed us that we had not been given permission to disembark by the Italian government. As a big surprise for all they are demanding a full inspection of the ship before they allow anyone to come ashore. The captain said that when they had an estimate of the time required they will make that announcement.

Shore excursion people will be given new times to meet but he had no idea when.

So it has indeed been a strange morning.
