We survived the five sea days quite nicely. At no time were we bored or had cabin fever. There were so many things to do that we did not get to do them all. There were activities such as lei making, scholarship at sea talks on navigation, the history of Princess ships, the culture of each of the upcoming ports, a galley tour, dance lessons, bingo, crazy golf, exercise classes, seminars on gem stones , theme party nights and the list goes on and on. There was a formal night and a Captain’s circle party which we attended. They reported that there are 130 Canadians on board, over 300 of the passengers are staying on to Sydney, Only 58 persons have black cards and 100 of the passengers are traveling on to Rome. There were big production shows which were fantastic! There also was an equator crossing ceremony. In all there were 150 different activities. So far we have resisted getting our pictures taken. We certainly don’t need to buy any more pictures. But we did order the DVD, a first. I broke down and got a pair of beautiful Amolite earrings. We were able to get to know our table mates a bit better. One gal Mari is recovering from hip and knee surgery.Just watching her get up and down hurts. All six of us are travelling on to Sydney so there will be lots of opportunities to visit with them. Last night was lobster so Ken was in his glory. Today we are in Bora Bora and this is when I am going to try to snorkel without drowning myself. Report to follow.
